Property Administrator - Parksville

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Property Administrator’s role is to provide support to the Agents in the office and assist clients that visit the office; as you may be assisting multiple agents, your ability to multitask, prioritize, organize your duties and meet strict deadlines is critical to the management of the Agent’s portfolios. You may be required to create agendas and take minutes, so you must have experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and other software. Strong communication skills are vital as you will support the office with managing correspondence, predominantly via phone and email, though you will also be dealing with clients and contractors who come to the office. Attendance at evening meetings will be required from time to time, though we work hard to create a balanced work life. A desire to grow and learn, as well as the ability to self-motivate and tackle challenges, is valued at the company as growth continues and opportunities are regularly presented. The Property Administrator will find themselves filling various roles in the company, and must therefore be adaptable and have a strong work ethic.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Sound computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, data entry systems, typing;
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize, problem solve, manage time and multitask;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; professionalism;
  • Self-Motivated, able to work alone and with a team;
  • Adaptability and flexibility in assisting agents and clients;
  • Ability to take and follow direction;
  • Ability to manage stress and meet deadlines;
  • Must be able to work some evenings and weekends;
  • Positive attitude
